These gold nuggets were found near Quartzsite, Arizona with a metal detector about 1997. The gold nuggets from this area carries an attractive yellow coloring.

At the beginning of the 1900's and during the years of the Great Depression, LaPaz County had a large population of gold and silver prospectors living within a few miles of Quartzsite.
